The Mobile 3D Printer is equipped with two trailers with telescopic cranes. The cranes are collapsed and folded on the trailer in the driving state. In the retracted state, the Mobile 3D Printer is roadworthy and does not require a special permit.
When the 3D printer arrives on site, the trailer's main supports are extended and level the trailer. The second trailer is parked parallel to the first trailer and leveled. Due to the feature of vertical and horizontal telescopes, the two trailers are mechanically and electrically connected to each other. With the intelligent software solution of Imprimere AG, all remaining unevenness is leveled.
The machine is then monitored by the operator using sensors and actuators. The mixing process is monitored fully automatically by the IMP-MIX 100.
